Ouch! Vent Door HOT After Shut Down

Shut the Egg down as usual, by closing the bottom vent and the dome cap. After about ten minutes I decided that I needed to resume cooking and pulled the cap. When I reached down to open the bottom vent, OUCH! it was HOT! I'd never shut down and resumed cooking shortly after before. So keep that in mind! Use a glove or a tong.
