I got four 8lb butts I need to leave the house with at 4:00 on sat afternoon for a 7:00 dinner. Lg egg 250 how long you think it will take. I'm guessing about 7:00 in the morning.

Plan anywhere betwern 12-16 hours if you are cooking til 195-205 F. I would plan to have them done about 3pm, 4 butts can stay watm several hours. The key is keeping them above 140. Foil, towels, cooler those bad boys together to keep warm.

My experience is to have them ready early than chasing the time as it quickly comes and the butts are not done.
