New Egghead here. I became intrigued with the Egg after a weekend-long deep sea fishing trip - the boat, "Crowd Pleezer", had a BGE on board. We lit it mid-morning and cooked on it all day, not even adding new lump. It cooked so well, and the food tasted GREAT! When I arrived home, I started researching it and decided I would give Craig's List a try to find my BGE. Luckily, I found a Large BGE, new plate setter, tools, daisy wheel, table and cover for $600.00, it was less than a year old. I jumped on it immediately and picked it up Memorial Day Weekend (Saturday). It has been worth every dime! I have cooked on it every weekend, all weekend, and 3-4 days during the week. I'm not sure who loves it more, me or my neighbors - HAHA! They've been getting some good grub! I really appreciate the tips, techniques, and recipes. I have tried several. I must say, I have been most surprised by the umami burger recipe - very, very good! Anyway, just saying HELLO and look forward to some good banter, ideas, recipes, and advice.

Also, if you want a good fishing trip off Dauphin Island, I highly recommend the "Crowd Pleezer"!!! Man, Capt Brian put us on some great fish!
