Pumice stone?

I did a cook last night and I found this in my RO charcoal. Has anybody ever seen a stone like this in your coal? It looks like pumice.

It is likely part of the refractory lining of the charcoal kiln. That type of cement is fairly porous and often gets knocked loose when the charcoal is scooped out by the end loader.A poor widows son.

the first time i opened and poured out of a bag og bge lump....i got a rock a little bigger than that one and a piece of "fuzz"[fiberglass insulation] about the size of my hand.dunno....i thought it was odd...the rock was heavy o they beat me out of about 1/2 lb of lump !!

My old $35 Wal-Mart Grill serves at my collection devices for all the unmentionables found in bags of lumps. Should get a picture of it sometime.
