Does anyone have a link to good directions on how to season a cast iron grid?
Bx - > NJ ->TX!!!
All to get cheaper brisket!

Salt/pepper and cook it medium rare. Give it 5 minutes for the steel to settle, then dig in.Seriously, cast iron, just git into it and stop worrying about any seasoning.

I wiped mine down with a little vegetable oil and put it on the grill.

That should be printed on a hang tag for all CI Grills.......Seriously, cast iron, just git into it and stop worrying about any seasoning.

My CI grated on my gasser were meat seasoned. They were fine for a few years. When they got rusty after the many winters I wire brushed them, rubbed them down with Crisco and turned on the grill @ 350 for 2 hours. Good as new.Mark Annville, PA

oil the grill well, and use it, heat it up after your done cooking, give it a good brushing. Let it cool slightly and wipe it down with oil again. Do that a few times and always oil before use.
