Hey guys...new to the site and just bought a large green egg. We bought the table with it ( wood table ) and of course got it home and put it together and the table is for the XL egg. I am sure I already know the answer to this , but can I use the XL table with my Large Egg or should I take it back and get the Large table.....like I said I am sure I know the answer, but just wanted opinions. Thanks

That's a bummer especially if you had to put it together. Call your dealer and see what he can do.Geaux Tigers!!!

Not hard to put together...just the fact of they aren't open until Monday. Will probably just take it back...funny thing is they charged us for the large table...just put the wrong one in the truck

At least you're saying "funny thing is"...I'd be a little more annoyed and pissed than that!

Oh I am not very happy, but it is what it is....not really a lot I can do about it at the moment. They are closed until Monday. I thought about just swapping my Large Egg for an XL, but wasn't sure of the differences and if I actually needed the XL. Just saw where a lot of people prefer the Large.

See if they will upgrade you to XL egg for your trouble. I have large and think XL is huge, but more grill means more real estate to cook on. Entertain much?Columbia, SC --- LBGE 2011 -- MINI BGE 2013

Actually just took the table back and got the large table...got everything put together and cooked some chicken breasts last night for the first cook....tasted great. Looking forward to cooking more!
