Baby Backs

Just started my first ribs on the BGE. Smoking at about 235 so far. Read on the site that a rack at 225 takes about three and a half hours smoking indirectly. I've got two racks on... Should I wrap for an hour at the end? Also read about the bend don't break done test...Any other suggestions on cook time... When are they done ...Or other general rib thoughts? Thanks

I usually go about 5 to 6 hours at 250* for babybacks.

Steven I could see going that long for spare but it seems lengthy for baby backs. I think if you disagree so would "ditto" :-)

i go 5-6 for loin back easily, and usually 6-7 for spares. went 9 hours for spares once too.
almost impossible to screw them up.

baby backs. 2.5 to 3 ours hard smoke at 220 to250 degrees.
take off of egg. put in roasting pan with a cup of apple juice. cover tight with foil. into the oven for 2 more hours at 225 degrees. take off and finish on grill or broiler with sauce -
why not back on the egg?

cooked a rack of BB's yesterday. Temp averaged 250*. Cooked 2 hours indirect, wrapped in foil, 1 hr., then 1 more hour unwrapped. Did bend test and they were far from done. Left them on another 45 min., then removed platesetter to finish direct for a few minutes each side with sauce. So, almost 5 hrs. Didn't expect that since some say can cook in 3-4 hrs., but boy were they good. Don't rush them. I've done that before and they're not too good.
