ribs and vertical rack???

no vertical racks to be found in my town...
who has improvised and how successful were you?
In the last (my first as an egger) 10 days I've successfully cooked pizzas, pork tenderloins, sausages, jalapeno poppers and more, but what I really want and need is fulfillment from 4 racks of ribs.
Any help out there?

No V racks? Turn it upside down and you have a vertical rack.

Lowe's and Home Depot both have a ton of them around here. Have you looked there if you have any in your area.Large BGE Decatur, AL

I'll check lowe's tomorrow. I guess any rack will do, it need not be official BGE?

The one that I saw at Lowe's looks exactly like the BGE one. It doesn't have to be the same either way.Large BGE Decatur, AL

My wife brought some baby back ribs home and asked me to cook them. I did not have a rib rack yet but I did have a couple of cheap aluminum mini-muffin pans. I cut them in have, bent them a little so they would hold the ribs at about a 45 degree angle. The ribs cooked fine for 5 1/2 hours with no issues.
Fortunately Santa brought me a rib rack this year.
