I don't know if Ray will see this or not but I will throw it out here anyway.

I have the Big Time BBQ Cookbook and in it he talks about wrapping his home made sausage in plastic wrap and then putting it in the grill still wrapped.  Plastic Wrap?  Won't it melt?  He cooks these like you would a fatty.
