BGE parts prices
I found another BGE on craigslist today...I thought the price was pretty good so i went to look at it. Turns out, it was priced low because it didnt have the fire ring, fire box, rain cap, or feet. Does anyone know what the prices are for these items? I'll go order them from my local dealer, i just wanted to know what I'll be paying em when I order.
Oh, BTW, the egg was listed for $470...but with parts missing I got the BGE for $300. Hopefully the replacement parts will be low enough for me to still have a steal of a deal. If they're going to be several hundred bucks...then i'll probably wish i'd just bought a new one at an Egg Fest.

Those are expensive parts. You don't say what size, but for a large, I think you are around $280 for those parts. If you are patient, and watch craigslist and eBay you can do better.

Your dealer should be able to give you the prices. Unless of course you are in my neck of the woods where the local dealer doesn't know anything about BGE. I even had to provide him with part numbers for the items I wanted, which he did not stock or know anything about.

In case anyone was curious, I ended up going to the local dealer to buy the parts for my LBGE. I bought a rain cap, fire box, fire ring, and feet...total was $286 OTD. It was a bit more than I expected, but they were nice enough to give me the parts out of their display LBGE instead of making me wait for it to come in the next shipment.
I'm curious though, the egg itself was bought from a guy on craigslist...but the internal parts were from a licensed dealer. Does that mean the parts are warrantied or am i SOL on the parts i just bought too?
