Any suggestions on adhesive to apply rutland gasket to XL?

This works great,and is easily available at any auto parts store

Permatex "Ultra Copper" is reccomended for Rutland applications

Are you going to use the 7 ft pieces and have 2 seams? Or did you buy a bulk roll? I am asking because I am about to have to replace the gasket on my XL also.

If you have an XL, contact RRP (Ron) on this forum. He'll sell you the correct size and give you detailed instructions on how to install it. It's the way to go.Packerland, Wisconsin -
