So sorry to hear the sad news, our companions are only with us for a short time it seems. It's great that you not only took on one dog from rescue but two. That say's a lot about you, nice to hear of our four legged friends are being helped.
Regards,
Bordello -

I am taken back by the support here, although it happens all the time.

Okay, we all enjoy our eggs, no doubt. The loss of a furkid is right up there with most any loss that I have had. Thanks for the pics, take care Shane.

Shane, so sorry! Man it's hard to lose them. It sounds like she was a classy lady though, saving you the anguish of that trip to the vet....what a loving goodbye.

Have been so busy I havent had time to cook much less much forum time but Doreen saw this and told me about it. Just wanted to take the time and tell you how sorry I am for your loss. You know enough about me to know I can truly feel for you. Imagian her life or reather how short her life might have been if not for you. She had a much better life than most dogs and dang sure better than her lot in life starting off would dictate to her if not for you. The pics prove it! Nothing I can say will really make you feel better but time will. Promise. Will not and should not make it all go away but it will help. Deane

I really sorry to hear about your loss. In our house, our cats are an important part of the family. Earlier this year, we lost Buddy at the age of 17. In our case, we had to take that long last ride to the vet. Take solace in the fact that you will always have all those memories of Raine.
