Father's Day & more

A couple of recent cooks. The fiance wanted brats & sauerkraut for Father's Day, so that is what he got. Also made up a potato salad with tiny yukon golds, cherry tomatoes and a dijon vinagrette. Also grilled up some simple wings. Yum!
Last night we had chicken marinated in Kraft Roasted Red Pepper dressing then topped with Shakin the Tree. Also excellent.
Just a reminder to always tell those you love how you feel. This morning we lost a dear friend to an apparent heart attack, her 10 year old son found her. And if you would, please pray for this little boy, he has a tough road ahead. Thanks for looking.

Thanks Molly. She was a force of nature, hopefully her energy will help him along. Need to pull the camera back out, I get so lazy with how easy it is to post phone pics.

Nice cook Teresa but, most importantly so sorry to hear about your friend. Prayers out for the young man and all involved. Life is wonderful but, in the blink of an eye... :(

Holy smokes I just read the last sentence of your post. Prayers to the family of your friend! :(

Prayers said for your friend's son, and for you. These things are hard - almost impossible in many regards. You are so right about telling those that you love how you feel - don't miss a chance to tell someone you love them - God bless you!

Hoss, thank you. I know Patti would appreciate some of your Apple Pie! She was a charactor. Looked up a recipe for Lemoncello and will be giving it a try next winter.

Thank you smokeyb.

Thank you Elizabeth. My mother is 85 and I end every conversation with telling her how much I love her. But with our contemperaries, we don't think of it as much.
