Bought a "trimmed". Brisket at Costco today. The package was not a cryovac pack but a plastic wrapped tray.
Nice looking but when I injected it tonight turned out it had machanacly tenderized. It was a little fountain squirting back at me. Next time it will be the untrimmed and by the way lower priced cryovac bag.

Was it just poked or was there solution in it as well? I didn't think that Costco put solutions in the meats.

Good to know. We buy alot of meat at Costco. I did find a great butcher near me so we may keep getting meat there.
