Been having a tough time here on the west coast of FL for the past few weeks. Sinus irritation has now gone to a full-blown upper respiratory infetion. Amoxicillin, Nasonex and Zyrtec are helping but I'm not out of the woods yet. Anyone else suffering like this?

Here on the east coast we use honey from a local beekeeper. Also some horseradish, wasabi or chinese mustard, little at a time 3-4 times a day helps keep the sinus clear.

Yep. Pluse smoke from the fires here. Get yourself a neti pot.

Another big fan of the neti-pot here. Austin allergies can be brutal and the whole family suffers...proactive use of the neti-pot keeps things in check. -
I'm ok, but I'm taking zyrtek daily and the zyrtek with decongestant on really bad days. I'm mostly allergic to tree pollens though, especially pine so winter is worse for me.
When it's really bad my allergist puts me on rx stuff.Egging on two larges + 36" Blackstone griddle -
Definitely the NeilMed sinus rinse. It is not a medication so you can use it and take your meds.
