Look great!! How were they for tender at 6 hours with that much pull back?
Doug -
Doug they were very tender and probably could have withstood another 1/2 hour.I would probably trim a little more top fat next time, but other than that they were really good!!

I haven't done beef short ribs in a while, I've been on a beef back rib kick.
Yours look so good I'm going to have to stop by the butchers for a rack!Knoxville, TN

Looks good! I recently did some beef back ribs (gone before I could get a pix) and they were the best ever! Nice thing was they only took 3 hours. I have no trouble removing the membrane from baby backs, but beef ribs drive me nuts! Do you all bother with it?

Last time I saw ribs like that, Fred Flintstone was gnawing on them! Beauties, Dale.

Man those look great! Gonna' have to add beef ribs to my need to cook list. I've been working so long on perfecting BB ribs that I haven't cooked much else this year. Beautiful.

Dale,
Those are the Beef Ribs I have been wanting to do. Lots of meat. Were they able to get tender as they cooked. Also, was that 225 Dome temp ?
They look a lot better than the ribs I had at the Bear Pit in Mission Hills.
Have a nice week.
Gary -
Mark they are a tasty change.
