Cooked hamburgers for lunch and then put on chicken wings to snack on after lunch.
Started wraping the Mini to send to Chris and then thought of the wings about an hour later.
I checked the wings at 30 min's and they were ready to pull, but what the hell- crank it up some and extra chrispy for a couple of seconds................ Then forgot about them....next 900deg's
Wrapped the firebox and fire ring and burn chicken:
moved to plater

Wow Mickey...that is crispy! Another few minutes and it would have dropped in the firebox. Hopefully you are working on plan B?
-
On the positive side, they do look fall-off-the-bone!
-
Wow, what was the texture like?
In all seriousness, I think we all have screwed something up this bad before it's just that a lot of us don't have the guts to show it. Although this could be taking it to the extreme. :PI raise my kids, cook and golf. When work gets in the way I'm pissed, I'm pissed off 48 weeks a year.Inbetween Iowa and Colorado, not close to anything remotely entertaining outside of football season. -
LOL! That is AWESOME!!

Lucky for the egged hamburgers for lunch. This was for later.

Congratulations Mickey! :woohoo:
If you cooked them just a little bit longer there would have been absolutely no evidence. -
  Almost as good try at roasting almonds.
Your family needs to know you worship them by giving them burnt offerings.
Pretty funny, Mickey.
I need to catch up on the posts but are you needing any money for shipping/parts/accessories for the mini project?

Those do look well done. Even more than the pizza I cremated along with my gasket.

Okay, Mickey. At least you have a very good excuse for neglecting the wings. Doing something for others is a good thing plus you were doing it for a serviceman!

On the plated pic at about 4:00 I can see either a bit a wing still brown (and therefore edible) or else it's so hot it's still glowing. -
