Thanks to everyone here! We got our large BGE a couple of weeks ago and this is the only photo we have so far, no food photos, sorry. You have helped with everything from table plans to Egg size recommendations, to recipe's, and pointing me to the Ceramic Grill Store where I talked to Tom and placed my order last Thursday. I am anxious for the large customer combo and adjustable rig to arrive so I can try the Egg in new ways.
Thanks again!

jltmich,
That's nice of you to say. What was your opening size? I have to order granite and want a nice tight fit like that.

Welcoms JTM. Great table and great picture. Get that table dirty.....
Just for giggles, after a few cooks, look under those tiles as a precaution to see if the wood is getting any heat. I had tile like that under my egg originally and they got hot and the wood underneath was a little 'scorched'Visit my blog, dedicated to my Big Green Egg Recipies at http://www.bigtsbge.blogspot.com You can also follow my posts on FaceBook under the name Keep On Eggin' or the link http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Keep-On-Eggin/198049930216241 -
Will do and thanks for the caution. The Egg is up on the feet it came with so we are hoping that helps but will certainly check.
On the opening of 21 inches. We used the plan from the Whiz for the most part. I believe it is snug because we used the ceramic tile instead of the 2 inch patio block and that caused it to sit a little lower and therefore more snug. My carpenter/engineer is not here so I am winging it. -

Welcome to the forum and congrats on a beautiful table. It looks like it will be easy to keep it clean and you certainly have a nice area to prep and work in. Now, it is way past time to break it in and post a few pictures.Larry
