I just got a Dutch oven, I have never used one but I was thinking of trying third eyes pepper beef.
Any other suggestions? I always space my pizza stone with the egg feet and was thinking I should do the same with the Dutch oven, am I correct?

Yes, use the little green feet between the DO and the heat deflector be it a platesetter or a pizza stone.

The DO is one of the best additions to an egg one can get.
If you don't have one for the large egg pick up a Spider from the Ceramic Grill Store.
Good Cooking and have fun.
