This isn't a joke. I saw someone in the airport a few weeks ago us it and I didn't have a clue what was going on. Takes a little over a minute to watch.

Whenever I encounter a military service person in uniform, I offer a verbal "thank-you for your service" with a smile, and the response always makes my day! Whatever way you may choose, just do it!!

Thanks for posting.
I give verbal thanks whenever possible and have paid for many a serviceman's meal, anonymously. Can't thank them or their families enough! -
Good idea. I believe it is one of the signs deaf persons use as thank you so it makes a lot of sense.

Thanks. I always try to say thank you to our service guys but sometimes it doesn't happen. This is the perfect way to show it without bothering them.Judy

I never knew that. great idea. Our department does the escorts for the fallen soldiers that return to MacDill AFB in Tampa. Really sad seeing them drive by my area.

I love how it starts at the heart - as gratitude should be heartfelt.
Thank you for sharing this. As a traveler, I often see military personnel being transported place to place. Now I can express my thanks!
