Those were pretty tasty, but what I took for avocado dip (he passed it off under lantern light) at the after party, turned out to be half the mashed chicken livers in Arkansas! Whew! Gulp! :ohmy:

Who was doing the chicken hearts? The kids kept bringing me chicken hearts on toothpics. Hope they came from the gathering

Yep Hoss, That what we called them before we got Salado and became informed. LOL But if you are giving them out at a fest a lot of folks ( Lawnranger ) wont try them if you tell them they are livers, But if you fancy it up with a name like RUMAKI then they jump in a say they are good.. Kinda like mountain oysters !

No we didn't, but we will next time, also marinate in soy sauce for a while. Like I told Hoss we didn't know they were RUMAKI till we got to Salado. LOL

I have on occassion.I have also made the chicken liver stuffed,bacon wrapped mushroom caps.What would that be called? :huh: I KNOW!...YUMMEE! :laugh:
