Wok came out tonight. Made chicken stir fry and Tom yum goong (soup). Was absoutely awesome!!
Lots of ingredients - Marinade was soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, tumeric, cilantro and fish sauce.
On the platter.
I made some homemade Tom Yum Goong soup which is basically fresh chicken stock, w/shrimp, galangal, cilantro, garlic, lime zest & juice, lemongrass, chili, oyster mushrooms, fish sauce and coconut milk. Nice meal!!

RUE,
I clicked on this thinking the band was touring again...okay, that was a stretch. Wok-ing is my FAVORITE BGE Eggperience...this is a great set of pictures and clearly a winning dinner. Keep ON Eggin,

Do you have a recipe/directions for cooking the chicken stir fry? I know, it may be something lots of people do, but since buying a BGE, I have started cooking things I never thought I could cook.
And this looks really good!! -
Very nice Jerry!!

I need to put some of this info on my website. Stir frying is not very hard but just takes a bit of time to get ready. Plenty of Websites (like those from Richard FL out there with good descriptions of how to do it and all sorts of recipes.
On the egg, I get it up to a pretty high temp then close the bottom vent and put in the wok. I have a wok that I put in a Spider I bought from Ceramic Grill Store. It will heat up pretty quick. I've found that when I need a bit more temp I just open the bottom vent a little... -
Thanks Kendell! The soup made the meal!

Thanks!
They sell some cool stuff - Saw Pandan leaves which are great when wrapped around chicken and grilled. That's one of my favorites when I go over to Asia. -
Scott,
Thanks, have a great one! -
Looking great Jerry, just about to post Asian tonight part three. Was a very wokish night...
