You're going to need a crane to lift that thing.

Not only does it sound impressive, I've never seen a 80# bag of charcoal either.
Guess I get to see both at my local dealer one day. -
Does it look anything like this?
(photos shamelessly pinched from other people's postings elsewhere) -
Do you think they will update the nest or just add another brace to the XL nest?
If I was better at math I would try and guess the weight.
Will be a hoot to see in action.Thank you,DarianGalveston Texas -
I would only consider that if it has a platesetter
-

How much $$$$$? and when is one available!
I'd like to see what the hinge mech looks like on this monster! -
Kind of bad not to have it on a paver or the green feet even if it's not a working model.Thank you,DarianGalveston Texas

Screw the plate setter, I want an Adjustable Rig....Thank you,DarianGalveston Texas

some stainless steel braided wire hung from the daisy wheel would allow you to set the height to anything you want :-)
-
To light it, just toss the 80lb of charcoal in whole and light the paper :woohoo:
-
You know that seems just too big. But I imagine there will be a small group of people who will pick it up and enjoy it...
What to XLs cost I have to imagine this will be in the $2K + price range. -
that's gotta be a plastic prop. hahaha
little steven can't see the top of his daisy wheel as it it.
and a flashback would toast my afroed egli avea del cul fatto trombetta -Dante -
Can I get a Three Tier rack if I'm concerned about adequate cooking space?
-
That thing is obscene...it's gotta be pushing 800 or 900#...watch out whole hog competitors..
-
New XL today with nest will run about $1200.00.
I bet this baby, if was functional would run 4-5K.Thank you,DarianGalveston Texas -
You migh have to add on to the Tiki Hut Wess.Thank you,DarianGalveston Texas

Imagine a flashback on one of those.....
-
I wonder how long it would take to fabricate a trailer to hold 2 of those, and if it can be done before next football season.
-
Hey I need one of these. It solves the problem of which cut of meat to cook... Just cook the whole cow!
-
I am in awe. I never thought something like this would come out. Recon it takes two people the set the fire box and ring in the egg.
If your a dump and burn kinda person you will need your neighbor to help with the new 80 pound bags of lump.
I guess Tom (tjv) needs to get on the ball. :woohoo: -
Might be worth taking a ride over to the convention and taking a look.
-
It comes with one of these to lift the dome
Fred's Franks sold out too early - he would have been able to qudruble his sales -

Sure.. remember there probably won't be football next season for a while, unless some sort of magic happens today, and they get an extension. -
Sorry Darian, that things won't fit in the Red Rooster...you're on your own. Plus you would have to add onto your deck...better pass on this thingJudy

I would buy one.
-
Imagine rolling those eggs out for an eggfest. :woohoo:
-
We could make it fit in the truck. Have you ever seen "Monster Garage"?Thank you,DarianGalveston Texas

WOW!!! Looks like I may have to add an annex to the Chicken Coop.
I think Salado would be a great place to cook on one. Bring it on. Texas is big enough to handle it.
