bread to bread crumb conversion

I'm converting a recipe of pork meatballs that calls for a particular bread slices ratio per pound of meat. Rather than pulverize bead slices I intend to use commercial bread crumbs. Anybody have an idea of a conversion factor?

It's easier going from bread to bread crumbs than going from bread crumbs to bread :laugh:

for some added moisture, soak a couple pieces of bread in milk and squish it into your meatballs...works great.
