It'll take him some time to catch up.

I'm still waiting for the segment.

I posted a year or more ago that some of us oughtta start a BGE TV cookin show.I'll bet it would be a hit.We may even talk Rachel into narrarating(sp) it! Leroy could be lead camera man! There is enough talent on here to do several seasons! All we gotta do is talk Ed into financing it and paying us copious amounts of money for our work.
-
That was odd, it was a commercial for the oval Primo. I had to rewind the recording to see it. I expected a whole segment. But I think I did have a glimpse of the BGE but the church dome looked more like the real thing.

Maybe Foodtv can be invited to a big egg fest. That may get our foot in the door.
-
I'm in.

I have often wondered why some of the cooking channels were not at Eggtoberfest ,then it dawned on me.The cooks at a fest would make their regulars look inferior!
-
That last bit ain't gonna happen. Ed has us for free now for free!

 You right. That is probably why the Food Network has not been there. They probably wanted a hundred thousand dollars just to advertise for him.Or MORE!BTW,you have mail.
-
The Cooking Channel, owned by foodnetwork, is not as high brow and showing lots of old FN shows. Maybe they could use some new blood?
-
It will be interesting to see what happens with all this. We can't get the food network cause there is a Canadian food network and they feed some of the shows from the US but there are several CDN shows. I stopped watching it years ago but there is one chef, Michael Smith, that uses eggs but the last I saw he was doing smoked salmon at 325*

Maybe he can be educated?

It wouldn't be right to charge for doing something that is so much fun.
But I kinda like the word "copious" so I'll go along with you.
And you're right about the talent here.

He is an amazing chef. From New Brunswick I think. Great use of local ingredients but French trained. He cold smokes in an old fridge.

A couple of years back, I thought we had Bobby all ready to do a throw down with some of our more "mature" cooks. We couldn't get the timing down - he was going to be in Atlanta only for one day - but it would have been fun. I used to really make fun of him but the more I watch him, the more impressed I am. I think a 'chicken throw down' with dr bbq or nature boy would be interesting.
One problem is that my understanding is that NBC owns FoodTV and Weber is a big sponsor of NBC celebrities (Al Roker and others). -
 Mee TOO! It would be fun though!
-
EEWWWWW!

I know. We can set up a BGE on a highway ramp in Columbus, OH and hope a reporter see it. He can give us free publicity. Next stop, Dr. Phil. Is egging an addiction? Hey, this is getting better and better.
-
You must be in marketing.
-
I think that they should do a Iron Chef where the secret ingredient is the BGE. :laugh:George Foreman? Who?Tim C. Panama City, Fl.Large, Minimax-soon
-
They did that a couple of months ago. I forget the name of the show (wasn't ICA), but they set up some eggs on a beach somewhere and told the cooks to have at it. None had a clue!
I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

That was the next iron chef. Some couldnt get them lit and hot others burned the food.
