Stomach Cancer

It reminds me of the old George Carlin newscast item that read, "And this just in: Scientists have discovered that saliva causes stomach cancer, but only when swallowed in small amounts over a long period of time."
-
Then how can you explain that the rates of stomach, colon, and rectum cancers have dropped significantly over the past 50 years, and pancreas and liver cancers have remained relatively flat?
-
might not be cancer causing but they are starting to think some of these growth hormones and things they are doing to the animals is causing obesity in people, i like to think thats the cause for me and its not the overeating, drinking, and lack of exercise  could be some truth to it since we seem to watch what we eat more closely than our parents did and we are all fatfukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it

Actually, I think pancreatic has dropped over the last 15 to 20 years too. Regardless, I think most of any drop in cancer rates are due to screening and less smoking. I do think cancer, diabetes, and lots of other chronic illnesses/diseases are assisted by our food production processes. Could be wrong, but that's my theory.
Me sitting on my duff and dipping Kodiak Wintergreen for 15 years surely didn't help my chances, but like I said, I try not to worry about it too much. I did quit dipping but I ain't gonna quit drinking beer or grilling anytime soon. And I don't care if everybody smokes, as long as they aint making me breath it too.
Another good reason to eat grass fed, local beef and organic, free range chickens is that they taste better. A lot better when cooked on an Egg. -

Anything in moderation is OK...except good food. No such thing as too much good food...kind of like having too much money.
