Thank you, thank you! Peach/pear cobbler (got some Comice pears today from Fresh Market - they are something special)...don't have any French Vanilla - will have to suck it up and settle for Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla.... :woohoo:

Yessir,we call em Purple Hull Peas.WAY better fresh.In their dried form they are known as Blackeyed Peas.To tell the truth,I never met a pea,bean or lentil I did not like....IF cooked properly.

Hoss, never heard 'em called a juice harp. All I ever heard was jew's harp. No idea where either name came from. Good lookin' beans, btw!I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

I think it is Jew's Harp.Down here it is pronounced "juiceharp".
Course a lotta stuff is pronounced strangely down here.Milk is a two syllable word."Mee-ulk" :laugh:
