Yessir,we call em Purple Hull Peas.WAY better fresh.In their dried form they are known as Blackeyed Peas.To tell the truth,I never met a pea,bean or lentil I did not like....IF cooked properly.

I think it is Jew's Harp.Down here it is pronounced "juiceharp". Course a lotta stuff is pronounced strangely down here.Milk is a two syllable word."Mee-ulk" :laugh:
