A year of convincing SWMBO and the disintegration of our propane grill, led her to give me the go ahead... I brought these home today....

Welcome to the cult and congrats! Wow, you jumped in with both feet. Are you in Windsor, Ontario or elsewhere?
Garycanuckland -
Windsor, Ontario. I bought the eggs in Detroit, no way did I want to pay what the places in Windsor wanted.

how does one smuggle a BGE across the border? one piece at a time maybe?

Nice score and smart move. I bought my first egg (large) in Toronto over two years ago, didn't know better but the price wasn't that bad then, $1k included nest and platesetter. Bought second egg (small) in Michigan just north of Birch Run, saved almost 50% than if I bought local. I'm sure you'll enjoy your eggs for years to come like the rest of us. Hope to meet you at an eggfest some day.

You do not play fair
The rest of us had to work on the wife between eggs to get to the next ring :laugh:Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers. -
You are definitely an Egghead now!!!
Congrats and welcome! -
Oh no. You must have at least 3 Eggs to be in "The Club". 1 makes you a Egghead forum member. 2 Eggs tells us your wife has at least $500.00 in shoes. 3 gets you in "The Club" or as many call it, "The Dog House Gang". :laugh:Thank you,DarianGalveston Texas

I work in Michigan too... I drive by the dealer twice a day, it's no big deal.
