I have been up and down and left and right here and at TNW's site and can't find clarification on how the Stoker connects to the internet.
In the manual, it says to plug it into a router.
I don't know about everyone else, buy my egg is nowhere near my router.
So there must be a way to work wirlessly.
Either the Stoker itself will connect over air, or the probes connect to a hub which then sends the information to the Stoker (in that case, the Stoker could be plugged into a router somewhere else in the house).
Or am I just way out in left field?
Thanks

You can Ethernet the stoker to the router or you can use an access point (AP), 2nd router, and connect the AP to the Stoker via Ethernet.
The AP then talks to your Wireless Router and you have access to wherever you have your LAN connected. Open a port on the Router and you have access to anywhere there is WWW access.
Here is a nice graphic that RU Eggsperienced posted.

Im wishing someone would come out with a bluetooth version, or wireless.

I agree it would be nice to have everything integrated...built in wifi vs wired..I am sure it would add to the price though.. Plus maybe a web tool to advertise it onto the internet... The beauty of the Stoker is its versatility not its simplicity!

This is a video on how to setup the Stoker for wireless internet access. This user has a whole series of videos on the stoker.
