I have a good inch all the around the bird. I expect it to flatten a little after opening the turkey. Also, I don't have the drip pan sitting on my green egg feet yet.

Looks fine. You want to get some spacers under your drip pan if you are going to use the drippings. Take your dome thermo out and put the clip on the outsde.

Try it with the feet...that foil pan may not be able to support the weight with the feet under it...if all goes well position the turkey so you don't have the biggest part directly below the vent, so as to not hamper air flow...
-
-Add spacers under drip pan so the drippings will not burn (already mentioned).
-I had to dump my v rack for height problems, running celery stalks in the drip pan works keeping the bird off the bottom of the pan.-SMITTY

This is what I do too....make a vegetable/fruit bed for it to sit on. I roll up foil and use feet to raise the pan off the plate setter. I rolled foil makes it a lot more stable.

I have also used multiple crushed coke cans as supports/spacers under a foil pan.

SmokinSoCal- Here's a turkey I squeezed in my MBGE. I was up against the sides and top, and it came out fine.

once this thoughs and and you unwrap it, it will realx in teh rack and leave you more room

Is that the older XL with the shallow dome?

If it were me, I would remove the firering and flip the platesetter over (legs down) that would give you an extra 3" of overhead.
