Hungry relatives in town and itching for something Egged. ABT's, of course, and margaritas to whet their appitite. Followed by salad, inch and a half thick steaks and baked potatoes. Yes, the second eye surgery did the trick. I can see without glasses for the first time in years. The bad eye still needs some tweaking but will slowly come around. Thanks for asking.[p]The weight issue has had some serious challenges this week. Relatives need to be fed well and the host needs to make sure it's fit to eat. I'm seven pounds up already but I can lose that in less than a week when things settle down. [p]By the way, I tried the cheaper Barbeques Galore lump and it sucks. $10.95 a bag. $15.95 for the BGE lump and it is always good. I'll stay with the BGE lump from now on.[p]One of the guys in Barbeques Galore couldn't wait to tell me he bought an Egg and loves it. I gave him a card and told him to check with me and the Forum for details on the next Texas Eggfest. He said he would.[p]Sorry I missed you.[p]Spring "Over-fed" Chicken

Who's that fat boy holding up the lid? Hey, that's me before I started totaling my calories. [p]I'll keep my eye open for the margarita mix. The one I used this weekend is pretty darn good. Best mix I've ever tasted. Comes in a plastic bag. Just add teqila and triple-sec and warm water. Makes a big enough batch to put two grown men to sleep by 8:00 pm.[p]I'll post the name of it if I can find another bag.[p]Really looking forward to Texas Eggfest. Let me know what you want me to do. After this weekend of eat'n like a horse I'm not as skinny as I was four days ago, but I'll survive and get it off as quickly as I can. Meanwhile, I'm wearing clothes from my previous life. Fortunately, they are mostly Dockers and are still in style. I did have to take some of my underwear to the tailor to be taken in a couple of notches. He looked at me kinda funny but hey, they still have some miles/years left on them.[p]Yes, I have reserved to spots at the campground but that may change. I may decide to rent a motor home. Really been looking at them lately and my taste keeps going up in price. My neighbor wants to come and renting a motor home is better than renting a pop-up in my book. Owning one is even better. I've narrowed it down to a Phaeton by Tiffin Motor Homes. Really nice, but I'm going to have to go back to selling blood like in college to pay for it.
