My cedar table is based on Whiz's plans with an added drawer for extra storage. The table is sealed with Ready Seal natural cedar wood sealer.

Nice looking table.
The drawer is a great addition -
Very nice! I like the drawer.
Large, medium, small and a mini. Egg'n, golfing, beer drinking, camping and following football and baseball.
Atlanta NOTP suburbia. -
That drawer looks real handy. I hope you post a picture on Whiz's site also.

Nice work with your new table and I like the drawer, very handy place for cookin tools and accessories.
Enjoy! -

Is that a granite tile.?
Let me know how it holds up. I recently had a table built and after a steak cook, the tile cracked. Yes, I am using the feet for some air flow.
I will eventually lift him up and use either firebricks or a paving stone. -
It is 1 1/4" thick granite - counter top remnants. I've had it to about 650 once for steaks and it held up fine and I touched the granite and it was not very warm at all.

Good to hear and thank you for the quick reply. I am using a granite tile, which looks nice, but like I mentioned has a nice crack right thru the center.
Maybe I'll call around the local area and see if I can get my hands on a thicker piece of Granite. -
I got mine from a counter top shop. Check around because the price varied for remnants from shop to shop.

Yes or use a pot lifter.

Very nice job. Could you post some pics of the drawer hardware and construction method you used? I really want to add a drawer to my table as well.
Thanks,

Thanks my camera battery is dead and it is raining now so I will try to get some pics later. As for the hardware I used 18" full extension drawer slides they were either stainless steel or rated for outdoor use. I bought them at Home Depot and they were about $20.
The box (drawer) has 1x4 sides with a 1/4 plywood bottom and a 1x6 front attached to the box. The sides and bottom were attached with glue and screws. I attached 1x6 boards to the inside of the legs for the slides to screw into. When you measure for the drawer width remember to subtract the width of the slides from the distance between the two 1x6's attached to the legs. The total depth of my drawer is 20". -
Here's a pic of the slide and how it is attached to the table legs and the drawer.

Thanks BigDaddy!
I definitely plan to do this to my table. -
Nice choice of wheels, got the same ones, they are great, rust proof and locking in all directions.
Nice job! -
They are nice. Thanks for the compliment.
