Best filet I've ever done (a little braggin).
Egged a couple of filets on the mini tonight.Used the T-rex method. Coated lightly with Dizzy Pig Cow Lick steak rub and olive oil this morning. Just before they hit the fire, I used a new rub (to me)called "The Chef's Miracle Blend" made by a Michigan company named Alden's Mill House.Used cherry for smoke. WOW, even the wife said that they were the best that I have ever done. Maybe the best that I've ever had.[p] Cheers

Tim H., it is very doubtbul that the rubs were the main factor in your delight, the meat is more probably it coupled together with the timing of the cook...1- meat, 2 cooking time, 3 rub. IMHO
