Works great. I don't have anything to compare it too but I reach the temps im looking for alot faster.

That's cool! Or should I say "hot."

I used a oscillating fan in front of my Egg to get the temperature up to 800 degrees once when I was cooking pizza. I was trying out some new lump (Frontier) and it just wouldn't get up to my desired temp. The fan worked and brought the Egg up to temp amazingly fast.

Before I had an eggcellerator I used a leaf blower. Have not used the eggcellerator in a year, not sure if it still works, just keep the holes clear.

Add another $4 and get the air where you want it. (Aluminum foil not needed).

Most of the time using a wiggle rod will do the job. At some point in time the lumb bed has to develop it's own oxygen draw for the egg to become stable, then the problem is limiting the heat. Hence, the vents and/or power vent systems.
