bill, tha's a beautiful and healthy fish and veggie dinner!
The vegetable basket is soooo cool. At least I'll be doing the next best thing to eating Japanese at your house tomorrow. I'll be at Nobu. A sorry substitute, but it will have to do.
Remember you can always drink Iron Goddess of Mercy if you are out of sake.

thank you for the kind words but Nobu is not a substitute , more like nirvana..
please save the chopstick wrappers from Nobu, if you can. i use them as book marks in my nobu cook books.
if you can please take pixs of the plates at nobu,,
i am sooo jealous. -

thanks.. i got the idea for the cauliflower couscous from 'Avec Eric' Eric Ripert's pbs show. cauliflower in hte food processor till it looks like couscous then blanched. as all the vegies were blached and chilled this would be a better summer salad served with chilled egged shrimp i am thinking .
-
it was good .. except it is a bit chilly here and hot veggies would have been a better choice
-
thanks .. and it was fun to do somthing a bit different
-
thanks tim, so many great cooks here i figure i cannot even come close unless i make it pretty
-
thanks .. i watch the cooking shows looking for ideas to steal..
