Table Light

Just finished my table (will post pictures one of these days).
Now, I cannot figure out how to light up the workspace at night. Any ideas?
I have a stationary table/kitchen area with electrical hookup. So, I can install permanent lights if needed. But, I want something that looks good and is out of the way.
Thanks.

I use a clamp-on light that has small halogen bulbs and operates on 4AAs [I think]. It has a flexible neck about 20" long, so it can be twisted into the position you want.
I think they are about $15 and I have seen them in the grill accessory dept of several stores.
Not fancy, but functional, you might want to pick one up until you can figure out a permanent solution. -
Here is what I use on my egg.

Best bet is a small portable battery operated light that will clamp onto your table or work area. Most are have a flexible arm so you can bend/stretch to fit your lighting needs. Plus they are inexpensive. I bought mine for around $20.

Another hard wired option is this grill light. It is probably much brighter than the LED lights and will light up the whole kitchen. It is halogen and will get hot. It is pretty durable and reasonably priced:

Here it is in my outdoor kitchen installed between two large Eggs:
