cooking a butt for fun and praise

after cooking several butts over the last four years they have always been for our own consumption. I'm doing this 10 pounder solely for an office potluck mid week, cauz ever since I treated them to BGE pulled pork twice this summer they have been craving and asking for it. Kinda puffs up a guy's ego don'tchaknow?![p]I'm also looking forward to again using the Guru for the fifth time now (I only use it for overnighters)and that cool 300 amp battery charger thing I bought for juice. Now all I have to do is find those bear-claw pork pullers I bought but can't seem to find. Those things are kinda wicked so I bet wifey put them in a safe place so who knows where the are...OTOH we've decided that the little yellow plastic sack from BEST BUY that I threw in the garbage last night that was hauled off this morning had two tiny wimpy gift certificates in it that wifey bought yesterday...that's called "How to throw away 30 bucks without even trying very hard!!!"
