Turkey injectionable marinade

I have made Mad Maax Turkey a number of times, as well as bring the bird several times. I think I would like to try injecting a marinade in my turkey this year. I was wondering if anyone has tried this and what kind of success they had with it. I saw one turkey recipe done this way in the recipe section, and I would like to hear from some other folks for ideas.

    I'm a big fan of injecting a mix of melted butter and dry sherry. Jeff Smith (in his book Frugal Gourmet Cooks American) came up with that one. You get a very moist bird and fantastic drippings for gravy.
