I got a 6" CI DO from Lodge. It would fit with room to spare.

Mark,
I have a set like this. Two per box.
Picked up at a discount store for $9.99.

I just cut the handle short.
Also a Panini press with the handle ground off.
One side flat with tiny lip. Flip side ribbed.

Many option with only little mods.Thank you,DarianGalveston Texas -
Six-inch lodge CI skillet fits nicely, though you do have to cut off the handle. Easy enough, with a hacksaw or grinder. You can buy a hacksaw for a few bucks, or you can take it to a locally owned hardware store and offer 'em a few bucks...they'll probably cut it off for free (at least my friendly local TrueValue or Ace stores would). Lodge also makes a number of "serving" pieces for the restaurant trade; generally they're smaller-sized, designed for a single serving or two. My local resto supply house has a bunch of tiny skillets, round baby dutch ovens, oval gratin-style dishes, etc.
See that sort of piece here: http://www.amazon.com/Lodge-Ounce-Round-Mini-Server/dp/B0017T6O26/ref=sr_1_70?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1288644857&sr=1-70 -

I haven't used them on the Mini yet but these little individual meatloaf pans are pretty cool. Cast iron and do a good job on meatloaf.
I got 'em at a $2.00 store for about $2.00. Four in a box.
Mini's are fun, aren't they?

I've got a 6 1/2 inch pan, made in Taiwan that I use mostly. I also use a slightly larger one and when I close the top of the mini, if you place it right, the pan will lay pretty flat (meaning not a heavy tilt, as not to spill the contents in the pan).Molly

First of all, thank you all for your help. Guess I will try buying a small lodge, and cutting off the handle.
Lowercase bill, I have been splitting my time going between Philly and New Jersey..... So I guess you could say that I am near philly...

Our friends just got this for their mini. It's really nice and the price is right. Four day delivery too.
