London broil in the storm..........

Grilled my first London broil last night in a rain and wind storm. I am still cooking once or twice a week since I got a BGE, something I never did this time of year with my old BBQs. Seared it 4 minutes per side at 600* and let it dwell for about 6 minutes. I had marinated it in Italian dressing overnight and dried it and let it set with rub for 4 hours. It turned out great. I can't remember where I saw it, but thanks to whoever posted the picture of the rain guard cut out of an old coffee can. With that can, rain jacket and flashlight I'm still cooking. Oh, it's starting to flood in some of the western Washington rivers today.

jbrodie,[p]Yep, just put two spatchcocked (still think that should be spatchhenned)
chickens on the large, in the middle of what looks like a good storm brewin' up,
and thanks to the pineapple express, the Snohomish is headed for its banks this
evening, they're talking about the Snoqualmie maybe tomorrow...
stay dry up there in Marysville!
