Hi Juevoheads!

Does anyone have an recommendations for a good, readily available store-bought no-salt rub for a turkey? Or do you have a recipe for one that you are willing to share? Thanks in advance!

Just leave the salt out. Try sage for the poultry seasoning.

Rub, Poultry, Turkey, Custer's Old Fashioned

This rub combines everthing you need for a delicious turkey. Remember when rubbing poultry you want to get it under the skin. Skin blocks flavor, and while you might get some tasty skin it won't help the meat any

    INGREDIENTS:
    1 Tbs garlic powder
    2 tsp seasoned salt
    1 tsp poultry seasoning
    1 tsp paprika
    1 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp pepper
    1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
    1/4 tsp basil

    Procedure:
1 Combine all ingredients and store in an air tight container. Makes enough rub for a 20 pound turkey.

    Aaron,

Don't know about availability in your area but Dizzy Pig has a salt free version of Dizzy Dust.
