I don't even know how much they cost, nor the cost of their various metal polishing "creams" to be used with a Power-Cone, but does anybody here have an opinion based on experience? My front disc brake wheels on my Chevy Tracker look like crap! TIA!

I use the powerball and love it,but I have a lot of aluminum that requires polishing :pinch: When I say "requires",I mean that my aluminum does not have a clearcoat like most wheels do,so I have to polish mine a few times a year.I would recommend a good wheel cleaner and scrub brush(or take it to a carwash)first. Also, make sure to get a metal polish that is safe for coated metals.

what compound are you using with the powerball. how long does the powerball last, long enough for all four? my baja rims are not coated either and are really getting black on the fronts

I've used the same powerball on all 5 wheels and the diamond plated rear corners at least 4 times and it's still in good shape.I haven't let mine get bad enough to need anything more than just Mothers Mag & Aluminium Polish, but I know that they make some more abrasive compounds for when I let it get out of hand

its the salt they put on the roads up here in winter that kills the aluminum, it doesnt take long and you have a project with the rims, im going to get one of thoseand maybe a heavier compound to start with, thanks
