Old Table / New Granite Top!!

I posted this in the other forum a few days ago.

My buddy asked if my food will taste better now that I have a new table.... OF COURSE!!

    Not trying to be all up in your business but you need to line the plywood edge inside your table opening with something non-flammable or raise your egg a few inches to increase the gap between egg and table opening edge.

    Only reason I say is because of the burned table pics posted on this site a few weeks ago.

    Very nice looking table.
  • Thanks for the heads up. I saw that posting as well. The only thing that confuses me is that I did the exact same size hole as the original table. 26 1/4" Should I still be worried as this is the standard size that BGE uses...
