Mad Max's Turkey

I just wanted to say thanks to Mad Max for the turkey recipe. I didn't follow it exactly to the letter, but I came pretty close. It is a great way to do turkey. Everybody LOVED the Gravy. In the past I had just been using the gravy out of the packet from the store, because I thought it was "pretty good". I definately have a new gravy recipe now. Previously, I had been boiling the gizzards and neck in water all day just to make the house smell good. Then I had been throwing them away. I won't do that anymore. I was reallly surprised at how much meat was on the neck. The turkey and gravy were a HUGE success.[p]Thanks Mad Max!![p]Also, Many thanks to nikkig for sending me the link to the recipe at the last minute![p]
