here are the results of my turkey cook yesterday.. .[p]every thing you need
[p]turkey under the ice bag.. .all that's left is the butter paste and wine. .[p][p]into the egg. .. [p][p]5 1/2 hours later, after lots of basting. .. ready to pull .. [p][p]everybody's going. . .ooooohhhhhh, aaaaaahhhhhhhh[p][p]got the gravy going. . [p][p]sliced and ready to serve. . very moist. . .[p][p]i think dad was happy (course, it doesn't take much to get him to take a nap, but it looks good). .. [p]

Great stuff Max! Looks like one Happy-Pappy in that last picture! I didn't take pictures, but we had a Florida room full of moaners after the feast.

glad you and shirly had a good one two. . .guess you have to be careful down there. ..if you all load up too much you might sink into the swamps.. heee. . .[p]and even mom, who always questions any food off the egg thought the bird was great. . .

i don't think its possible to put too much butter on the bird (within reason of course). .. the butter does so much for the color of the turkey as well as making for the great drippings. ..
