Drip Pan for Turkey

This is my first time to cook a turkey on my new egg. Where do I place the drip pan? On top of the coals? Under the turkey on the rack? Please help if you can.

here's a link to how i'm doing my set - up. . .no, you don't want to put your drip pan on the coals, unless you want a charred mess on your hands. .. you want it under the turkey, with a heat barrier below that, so that you are roasting with indirect heat. .. there have been other posts the last couple of days on the subject as well. .you should scroll down and look at all the turkey postings. . .
