This happened about a mile from my house today. Pretty sure it's food related.

Not really sure what to say. I really feel bad for the pigs but I have lots of room on my eggs :woohoo:
-
had it been here they'd be questioning the nearest green egg owner....
-
Steve,
Did you go down and help-out the cause? Ribs tonight? or a roast? -
Not all of them went Wee Wee Wee all the way home.
-
I didnt see any mention of what type of pigs they were, or rather what they were bred for. Is there a reason they wouldnt be processed and used to feed people at homeless shelters, prisons, etc?
-
Ron,
That can't be done here. Dead stock.

Tim: just no :pinch:Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Just given another Mini to add to the herd.

Steven, First of all, anything that has Hog with two "g's", gets my attention. Regarding euthanizing the pigs, as we say in the states..."the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed"!!! A good marksman wouls have done it in one shot each! Less damage to the meat!!

It's a shame they couldn't have been processed. Poor little things.

Hate that happened.Really.But if had happened down here you would be able to see the glow of the embers in Canada!!!

Steve: A very unfortunate story!! By the size of those little guys, I would say they were not headed for market yet, but another farm to grow and fatten. Unfortunately, when petrified (scared $hitle$$), the adrenaline and fear kicks in, and renders the meat virtually useless. They really had no choice, sad to say. :( Unsalvagable. Sad story.
