turkey size

I just got my big green egg and would like to try smoking a large turkey but am not sure how large of a turkey will fit also any suggestions on a good recepie thanks for any help

    about 8 posts under yours, Mad Max has kindly posted his turkey recipe again. It's all spelled out.[p]Last year I cooked an 18 lb turkey. I see many posts with 20 lbs. If you search the archives (search capability is below all the current posts), for something like 'turkey size' or 'turkey how big' you should find some relevant info. I seem to remember that at around 22 lbs you have some serious challenges regarding the temperature probe hitting the bird, etc.[p]Good luck!
