My pit probe is red when I turn the stoker on. I have to pull it out and plug it in everytime I turn the stoker on. It has done it since it was new. Anyone know what would be causing this. I would rather not send it back and have my stoker out of commission.

  • They all light up when you turn the box on. Also, until it's ready it may be picking up a low alarm if you had one set previously
  • All of your probes should be plugged when you turn on the stoker. Turn the unit on and the fan should come on momentarily and shut off. After this you will see a please wait. When this goes off press the select button 6 times. You will see another please wait. When this goes away your probes will be programed.

Remember. Always have your probes plugged when you turn the unit on.
